In the Teens this morning, 18-19 degrees. We could use some of this cold for the weekend. Stove feels pretty good this morning.

34 this morning with the high predicted to be 40. Average wind today 14 mph, with 24 mph gusts Going to be busy clearing stadium seats in Buffalo. Ha! Jim Cantore live in Buffalo

I ended up measuring 2.1” of snow here, just north of Williamsport. This morning the grass is still covered with snow but the roads are bare. A reminder that winter is here.

Definitely an overachiever from what was predicted 24 hours ago. Mag, 4.5” nice first storm of the season. Buffalo LES is starting up.

Bub that would sure be a nice start to the season. I picked up diesel for the tractor today. Bills game, very poor officiating against both teams. Boy what an exciting game though.

59 degrees, currently winds calm. Total - storm total was 3.16” of rain. Picked up 1.76 overnight

Rain started about7:15 this morning. Still raining 7:15 to 3:30 pm 1.40” of rain. Liking all this snow talk Make me realize I should probably get my snowblower around.

we sure could use some rain. River is getting super low. 0.4” would be nice to head into winter with a little surplus. The sun sure was intense today. Short sleeves today.

Low temperature yesterday morning 67. And we set a record yesterday at 74 for the high. Mowed the grass yesterday, hopefully for the last time.

Hit 68 for a high yesterday. 38 here this morning. I didn’t think it was supposed to get that cold this morning.

32 degrees with a heavy frost this morning. Looks like Texas is having some rough weather this morning.

Looks like a pretty boring rest of the week. Highs 60 and lows in the mid 30’s Leaves have been dropping at a good rate. River is getting really low again. Currently 0.6” last year 4.0”

Was up to Mansfield today. The leaves are past peak up that way. A lot of leaves off the trees already with the wind. A few spots was close to peak. Cold and windy up there. Ives Run Tioga Hammond.

Thinking I have one or possibility 2 mows left. It could use mowed right now. I go through 3 ton of coal a year. Depending on how cold the winter is. Cold long winter would really put a hurting on a lot of people.

2 ton of coal delivered this morning. Last year $240 ton. This year $340 Coal stove burning, 70 degrees in the house this morning.

29 degrees this morning when I got up. Heavy frost on my truck windshield. Which is a first this season.

I have a coal stove that runs off a thermostat. It’s this kind of weather I miss burning wood. Ended up with 0.40” rain with the front that come through yesterday. Definitely was and under achiever. Currently 50 degrees

The worst is by us. Radar still showing lighter rain for awhile. Gauge is currently at 0.35”. 58 degrees here.

I’m guessing around 0.50” Seems we’re always getting short changed on the rain predictions. Predictions was originally 1-2”

Getting the wind this morning. But the rain is currently dry slotting us. Not sure we are getting the 1-2” the NWS is calling for.
