.10” of rain yesterday…radar looked pretty solid, and then did the split. High of 86 degrees yesterday. Been mowing the grass twice a week.

29 degrees this morning, Fired my coal stove back up Saturday night. Grass seems to be really growing, another mow coming this afternoon. edit: Heavy frost this morning, grass is white and truck windshield is frosted up.

Mow #3 with the new Toro zero turn. Taking some getting used to. Probably the first mow the neighbors was amused. Not any alcohol involved. I don’t think we have got the rain they was calling for this week. .03” yesterday The high gust this week was 55mph.

50 degrees and heavy fog this morning. Almost no visibility. edit: sun is trying to burn through the fog now.

48 mph wind gust was the winner yesterday. It was a chore trying to just pump gas in the wind yesterday. Between the rain and the wind the last couple of weeks, the weather hasn’t been that enjoyable. Steve sorry for your loss. At least now your mom is in a better place. Hopefully you can get on with your life.

I don’t think the last 2 days we have got the rainfall they was calling for. Yesterday .07” and today so far today .02” Guess we will see what round 3 brings tonight and tomorrow.

59 degrees and kind of a light drizzle this morning, not much wind. I have been mowing with a Wright Sentar zero turn. It turns 20 years old this summer. Broke down and bought a new Toro Titan zero turn. Kawasaki engine and a 52 inch cutting deck. Going to be a slight change going from a stander to something with a seat.

29 degrees this morning. Was 50 degrees when I went to bed last night. Having trouble shaking these cold mornings. Mow # 2 in for the year. #1 was mostly for high spots. Enjoy the eclipse this afternoon!

Well no snow...Been out on the river fishing. The big girls have been biting! Been having a good year.
