  3. I see TWC laid off Mike Seidel after over 30 years…downsizing they said. He got hired by Fox Weather. Edit: picked up .46” overnight from storms. Got the lawn mowed yesterday.
  4. I’m north of Williamsport but picked up 1.04” of rain today. .64” was recorded at Montourville airport. As mentioned before a couple 3-4 “ downpours kind of pad your stats.
  5. Picked up .43” from yesterday. Few heavy downpours, nothing steady. River is Skinny and very weedie. 3lb one fish won yesterday. Fishing for smallmouth
  6. That storm that come through last night. The airport which is about 10 miles away picked up 1.23”. My total from the storm was .10” Some good rumbles of thunder at least.
  7. Picked up .65” from the storm. From what I heard Jersey Shore and Salladasburg got hit pretty hard. I haven’t saw any rain totals.
  8. It’s all beautiful country up there! I kind of lost track of Fin Fur and feather. Next time up will have to check it out. Usually once a year go across the pike to Cloudersport, stop at Cherry Springs and have a meal at Black Forest Inn. Rainfall total for the year 26.86”
  9. Yep hit the top of the mountain, ate at Mountaintop Provisions, good food!
  10. As Bubb mentioned some of these rainfall totals can be deceiving. You get a couple thunderstorm cells and they drop 3-4” of rain times 2 and add 6-8” of rain to your monthly total. And most of them totals is run off not ground soaking. Kind of how I got ahead on my yearly total. Went out to eat yesterday up past Waterville. Hard a storm, had the windshield wipers on high for about 5 miles. Get home not a drop, all north of us.
  11. You need about a 20 year old babysitter to help you this upcoming week low of 59 this morning
  12. I’m getting skirted…All pretty much to the north. But a lot of moisture on the radar, all the way back to Ohio.
  13. They lied to me with their forecast. 11:00 was 89 degrees 72 for DP Nooner 87 degrees Lawns mowed, or I mean weed tops
  14. Our record yesterday was 103 set in 1995. We only hit 95 for the high yesterday. This week the hummingbirds have started to show up at my feeder. I was beginning to think I wasn’t going to get any this year.
  15. Ha it said the closest lighting strike was zero miles away…take cover Couple fawns out in the field feeding now. Eating some down branches. Hot tub cover got blowed off. Should have had it latched. Officially .30” of rain from my manual gauge.
  16. We got hit pretty hard in a hurry. We didn’t get the worst of it. “It’s up north” Strong winds, some close lightning and probably .35” of rain. Had some pretty strong winds
  17. Reached a high of 95 yesterday. No precipitation yesterday. Started the morning at 71 degrees. NWS advice stay inside the next 2 days
  18. The storms went North/South and to the west of me. Could of had a lot more rain. With that last line I ended up with .42” for the day. Not complaining any rain is much needed. Highest wind gust 37 mph
