They lied to me with their forecast. 11:00 was 89 degrees 72 for DP Nooner 87 degrees Lawns mowed, or I mean weed tops

Our record yesterday was 103 set in 1995. We only hit 95 for the high yesterday. This week the hummingbirds have started to show up at my feeder. I was beginning to think I wasn’t going to get any this year.

Ha it said the closest lighting strike was zero miles away…take cover Couple fawns out in the field feeding now. Eating some down branches. Hot tub cover got blowed off. Should have had it latched. Officially .30” of rain from my manual gauge.

We got hit pretty hard in a hurry. We didn’t get the worst of it. “It’s up north” Strong winds, some close lightning and probably .35” of rain. Had some pretty strong winds

Reached a high of 95 yesterday. No precipitation yesterday. Started the morning at 71 degrees. NWS advice stay inside the next 2 days

The storms went North/South and to the west of me. Could of had a lot more rain. With that last line I ended up with .42” for the day. Not complaining any rain is much needed. Highest wind gust 37 mph

High of 90 yesterday ,Boy was it humid. Picked up .30” of rain yesterday off of a pop up storm. 60 degrees this morning and it sounds like it’s gonna be pretty windy today. 30mph gusts -

Woke up to rain at 5:30 this morning. Currently light drizzle. Another mow in yesterday.

0.66” total rainfall for yesterday. We kind of missed out on some of the heavy stuff. But still some much needed rain.

Picked up .42 this afternoon. Few rumbles of thunder but nothing close. Sprinkles and then heavy downpour, then back to sprinkles Guess we will see what the next round brings.

Bub rain been hit and miss all summer. One placed is getting dumped on and 1/2 mile down the road it’s completely dry. No consistency. I know last summer I picked up a couple 3” downpours that really helped out my yearly total. 2-3 of them and there is 9” of rain. River is getting low, hopefully pick up some rain off these thunderstorms.

We set a record today high 98 degrees. Previous record 97 degrees.

Hope your son has a speedy recovery! My wife’s car was reading 99 degrees in the driveway yesterday, my home system was reading 99 degrees. NWS said the high was 94 yesterday. 8:00 am mow this morning. Mostly trimming the high spots. Nooner: 95 degrees

Like to keep the bedroom cool also. 64 in the summer and no heat in the winter. 69 degrees this morning. Maybe a lawn mow yet this week. Probably cut the grass at 4” this week.
