I really wanna know where the ridiculously awful Apple weather app gets their information from because it is saying to expect 4 to 5 inches of snow in southern Wake County in the next 24 hours

Latest NAM, NAM 3k, RAP, & HRRR all have between 0.25"- 0.5" of freezing rain for Wake County. Is that a realistic outcome?

Nam 3k is an awful ice storm for wake. 0.4"

At my location, NWS point 'n' click has less than 0.5" of snow and between 0.1" - 0.3" of freezing rain. Has it changing to all zr after midnight.

I am truly expecting here in southern Wake a brief burst of snow that quickly changes to sleet, then freezing rain. I would not be surprised to see over .25" zr here with almost no ground coverage of snow. That being said, I could see something like the RGEM is showing. If it stays all snow, its gonna total 4". RGEM keeps the transition line down in Harnett
