  1. **Cue dramatic music.** @csnavywx has thrown down the gauntlet! Will @snowdude respond in kind?
  2. Seemed to end up with about 11" at my location in Salisbury. There are drifts to my waist. Lot of shoveling to do in the morning.
  3. A couple of pictures from Salisbury: https://imgur.com/a/XQdNr
  4. Jebwalk complete. Ripping in SBY, very drifty and difficult to measure depth effectively in a dense residential area. No evidence of damage here, but there's no fetch to speak of in this neighborhood.
  5. About to get blasted here on the shore, good catch @csnavywx!
  6. Thanks for checking in and spending some time here @snowdude! Best of luck with your call, I think it's a good one!
  7. I have a nagging feeling we get a big chunk of dry slot at some point. @WxMan1 posted some images that seem to show the Eastern Shore smack between two areas of enhanced lift. That's always a guessing game until things are just about rolling, though.
  8. Will do my best to grab a couple. I imagine a late night or early AM Jebwalk is coming. <3 @Jebman

  10. Thanks for stopping by @csnavywx! Excited to see where the banding sets up.
  11. Your comment about rates mixing down cold air in the other thread may help with some of the mixing issues @Beachin. I'll cross my fingers.
  12. Keep in mind, re: that GFS map, it's probably struggling with temps/p-type to produce those amounts in the Salisbury/Delmar area. The QPF supports that kind of accumulation if p-types weren't a concern and the ground wasn't warm. I think the calls for 2-5" I'm seeing scattered around by the regional mets seem pretty good. @snowdude, what's your call?
  13. Unofficial, grassy measurement was 11" here in SBY an hour ago. Looking forward to seeing if we best a foot in MBY.
  14. Great in Salisbury. Looking at 10-12 inches by the time it finishes probably. Just finished a Jebwalk and now enjoying the view to some spiked hot chocolate.
  15. Gorgeous morning here in Salisbury. SN to SN+ and a gentle breeze. Eyeball Mk. 1 says maybe an inch and a half so far.
  16. My goodness, @PhineasC is here, practically a special guest. Enjoy your weekend at the beach! Also, glad to see you here @snowdude. I think your call is a good one. Seen it change too fast too many times with a gradient like this one. I sure wouldn't go out on a limb and I think you're smack in the center.
  17. Shouldn't be too bad unless you're on the water. Though a bunch of the tropical models at 06Z started showing a move back inland. If the 12Z GFS/Euro runs start to do the same, it will change my attitude completely.
  18. Yikes. Euro shows Hermine within rain range of Delmarva for 5+ days. My poor basement.
  19. On the plus side, our homeowners insurance rates are pretty reasonable... But yeah, Salisbury is where interesting weather goes to die.
  20. Had a really wet inch or so, mostly on unpaved surfaces. Nasty, slushy stuff.
  21. I think it was an earlier run of this map, the other one that follows looks ok.
