You’d be surprised how SE winds and warmer than they should be ocean temps can decimate cold air faster than mustard gets on a tie at a county fair…whatever that means.

Hazards aside and impacts..it would be cool to see a wind driven ice storm. ..until it was time to clean up from it

I’ve never experienced a wind driven ice storm here in the piedmont. Feel like if the wind was right it would be snow and the wrong wind direction like this appears so far is rain. But you never know

That’s the fun part about this. You never know what will happen until it happens.

Looking at some of the recent model runs I am getting the sense this won’t be a total snow event…and my area may change over…I am not convinced of that but I can’t dismiss it entirely. I will keep watching it and let everyone know.

impassable roads...always fun...interesting "most likely snowfall 1-3 inches"...snow may fall at 1-3 inches per hour....it may snow for an hour...that made me chuckle
