    I think the GEFS h5 looks ok. I mean it doesn't look like the h5 from the EPS but 2m temps are below normal and I didn't see a buried blue ball over AZ/CA. I hope I am reading that right. CAPE and Brooklyn will tell me if I am not.

    Hopefully we start to see some hits show up on the GEFS. Has to look a little better than 12 and 18z.

    Quite interesting to see those differences in the handling of the western energy. The GFS was on its own for this upcoming weekend event as it shifted north to where we are now before the other models...the others moved toward it slowly but surely hence all those "King GFS" posts....why do you think this period of time is different?

    How much does it take to suppress the SER? You’d think that look would yield a deep Eastern trough…yet the flow looks zonal…is that the Pac? There is t even a WAR. It’s baffling.
