Yes there is? Hour 93 there's sleet, and after heavy snow for 6 hours or so we turn into sleet and freezing rain again.

I'm happy with the GEM. 6 inches of just snow IMBY. Mason-Dixon line is cashing in a lot of money, though.

GEM is very north.

That's the best run from the GFS for this storm system. 6-10" and DC is the bullseye. Everybody should be happy with this (unless 06z is more north).

Great post. Helps ease the nerves around here. I still think DC will still mix with some ice but I think 00z Euro trends slightly south (DC bullseye or just north) and 00z GFS trends slightly north (Fredericksburg bullseye or just south of DC)

EPS kinda trended that way as well, though. Heightened snow totals overall but the bullseye is Baltimore now.

It's too north now. I don't want another trend north. Nobody except Philly is happy.

DC gets plenty of freezing rain.
