  1. I have an issue with mine. Silt builds up over the pipe. And I forgot to shop vac it out after the first 8" of rain. Yesterday's 2" made it flood into the basement.
  2. Storms starting to pop up now in the area
  3. HRRR suddenly wants to give us some rain this evening
  4. Haven't seen measurable rain in over 12 hours now. The new drought has already started!
  5. That map is definitely a bit underdone IMBY
  6. Using cocorahs totals, I'm almost an even 10" It amazes me though how unsoggy my back yard is. Back in May with all the rain it was a pond. With this rain, it's not bad at all
  7. Looks like a break for many of us for a while. The drainage pond at my office is about to overflow
  8. My PWS says I've gotten 1.55" today. And it under reports rain.
  9. It's going to be piling up in eastern AA county/Baltimore county this morning
  10. Careful what you wish for. Last time we wished for sun we got it...for a month straight.
  11. I noticed this morning I had a clogged gutter on my garage. Fortunately it shouldn't be any big deal since it is sloped down to the road at that spot. A clog in the back of the house in this rain would be very bad.
  12. Looks to be another damp one today
  13. 12Z NAM is pretty tame through Wednesday.
  14. Really shows how localized this storm is. I'm not far from you, but "only" have about 6"
  15. Not much of a rude awakening after all
  16. The good stuff is literally less than a mile to my east
  17. Cocorahs has me in the 5" range, though you sure can't tell. Barely any puddles around. We went camping (in a mini cabin thank goodness) at Martinak State Park. They had upwards of 3". Thankfully my canopy didn't leak
  18. I'm supposed to go camping this weekend at Martinak. Wondering if I should rethink it.
  19. Radar looked great. But really not much to show from it
  20. Gonna be a fun ride home. Actually driving in the rain is fun. Driving in the rain on Maryland roads at rush hour definitely is not.
  21. Got 1/3" Enough to let the grass at least take a breath
  22. Wife left her car windows open at work. Oops.
