    Hiked 18 miles yesterday and #40/46 Mt. Marshall. Temps were -22 to start the day, my hardest hike I might have ever done I almost cried when I hit the sign at the top lol. Lost my water bottle, was so cold everything froze, 60-70” at the top. Today was much more enjoyable 8 hours of perfect skiing.

    Snow potential for rest of March after this weekend, actually cold enough for lake effect, but diurnal effects would play into it. But all systems go if we can get a nighttime event going. Why couldn't we have gotten this pattern in December? The LES potential would have been insane.

    Those pics are worthless. Just goes to show you how many various threats there are. Best look of the year for synoptic in Upstate. Its like 4 waves of low pressures on GFS with plenty of cold air nearby.

    Scott that high 100 miles Southeast and we're talking 2 massive storms here.

    Just looking at GFS there are 3 big winter storms. 3 timeframes to watch. 3/8, 3/12, and 3/17.

    Yeah someone from Michigan to Northeast is going to get 1-2 big snowstorms in this pattern. The 2nd one looks massive.

    Soccer is exciting but I only like international games like world cup. A great sport though. One of my favorite sports to watch is Tennis, I've been playing since I was a kid and got pretty good at it. Going to be sad when the big 4 retire. Roger Federer is my all time favorite athlete.

    Yeah you like baseball more than me. I'm like that for football and hockey. After work in summer I usually am by the pool or disc golf. I like attending baseball games much more than watching them on TV, too boring for me.

    Yeah I really only watch the playoffs and highlights of regular season. 162 games is insane to me. No one has time for that in the summer.
