    So with an 80% frozen lake Erie this is what we got overnight around my area. 30" and counting. One of the greatest LES events on a frozen lake in history.

    Sooo...Eden and Boston got 3 feet overnight and I was 2 miles too north of that band...But it finally made it here!!! Heavy snow!

    So a strong LES band formed off 80% frozen lake Erie tonight producing snowfall rates over 3" per. Went chasing as it was just a few miles south of my house. Few Pics.

    Band still dumping in Village of Hamburg and North Boston. The heaviest stuff I ran into was pushing 3" per. I'm just a little bit too far north just light snow with this batch.

    Wind shift for Erie county folks is just sw of London Ontario. Coming with several waves of moisture. Going to be a fun night.

    I think you want relatively light winds In all big les events.

    Yeah that was great year for central ny. Also a big event in buffalo 42” in 3 days over central Erie county.
