My aunt lives in the hills of Holland but doesn't know how to take pictures with her phone....Shes only 65 SMH. I'm teaching her next time I see her, she is in prime spot.
I'm going to my in laws house tonight on the hills of Eden. The snow depth there last week was 2' already. I can't wait to break out the shovel. I think they will have the highest depth around outside of tops of Boston Hills.
They had winter weather advs last night when I was chasing that crazy band. Forecast were 4-6" storm totals. They upgraded to WSW late last night around 11pm for 6-12". Events like this are what make living here so special.
Once in 100 year storm that was. Highest total for round 1 was 65" and round 2 49". All in 3 days.

I have a picture saved from someone who put a sticker every 30 minutes for a few hours during heaviest stuff. The max was 8" per hour.
You're right. I think this had potential for 5"+ rates if lower ice cover. As that sounding was posted, ideal conditions for maximum snowfall rates and beautiful dendrites that accumulate quickly. Nov 2014 had 5-8" rates at its peak.
