    KBUF the last few weeks... It went further NW then we thought, it went further SE then we thought, there was less ice then we thought, it was colder than we thought.

    Another clipper moves through tomorrow morning with a little bit more colder air than todays. Should be another couple inches

    makes no sense, I thought we had a pretty cold February. The warm Dec/Jan definitely is the culprit.

    I didn't add the averages together but I'm pretty sure its the 4th snowiest month after Dec, Jan, and Feb like most of Upstate. However, it does seem like March produces bigger synoptic events than most months do.

    It's 35 degrees here with moderate wet snow, that line that went through was a mixture of everything

    Talk about crazy ratios a guy in the NNE sub forum just posted this. That is 1:48 ratio Event totals: 7.7” Snow/0.16” L.E.

    New York looks like its doing good but everyone in Upstate is well below normal aside from Binghamton and Albany.

    Those are incredible numbers! It's dropping so fast. Hospitalizations are down to the last 2 peaks we had in April and the other in summer and dropping quickly.

    Going to take awhile for this snow to melt SWE are in the 2.0-3.5" range in Erie County. Over 4" in the Boston hills.

    Ensembles look pretty warm heading into March, SE ridge starts to get going.

    I can't wait for summer night walks with high dews. Besides heavy snow jeb walks, they are my favorite.

    The time of day definitely helped WNY get snow instead of a mix. It hitting in the morning with daily low temps.

    It's almost been an entire year since the lockdowns started. I'm ready for things to get back to normal too. I cannot wait to walk into the gym without a mask on. But with Cuomo as governor it might not happen for another year. =(

    Lake Erie added some enhancement with marginal temps as this went through, pretty cool.

    They know a little more about thermals, atmospheric conditions, weather balloons, and 20-30 years experience then we do but I agree. They have more tools at their disposal.

    Mets are struggling this winter lol. All snow here for entire event. Albeit very wet snow. Radar loop

    Did the EPO help as well? It seems the polar vortex had a large impact too. Was that due to SSW in January?

    Pittsburgh, Chicago, Binghamton, NYC were all way above normal for the year. Along with every southern state.
