Yeah, no kidding.  They had just got confirmation of major damage and trapped people in Jeff City, several tor warns still ongoing, and once they hit midnight central it was basically a quick T&P's and See Ya.

I've seen unconfirmed damage reports all the way to the Missouri River, which would be about a 3 miles stretch from Riley Toyota.

That's consistent with damage reports, it looks to have went NE right up the south side of US 54, then along maybe Adams or Monroe Streets.

Channel 13 in Columbia confirms capitol bldg not hit, the damage appears to be towards the southern side of town.

It's the state capital of MO.  Lincoln University in the south central side of Jeff City. 

I-40 and US 64 bridges are shut down, in case the runaway barges get past the dam and locks, or if they do enough damage to the dam/locks.  Towns below evacuated.  Channel 6 in Tulsa has a camera at the locks, could hit any minute.

I hate to say it, but for actual storm coverage this Accuweather TV channel sux.  At a minimum they need a Dr. Forbes.  As cheesy and infuriating as The Weather Channel can often be, their storm reporting can be pretty good.

Yeah, I watched that light line roll west-northwest out of Fort Worth earlier, but I'm a weather idiot so don't know what it was.

Storms popping up to the NW of DFW, and that's a fact, Jack County.

No injuries in Starkville but heavy flooding.

I see he ran around a long line of cars patiently waiting, pulled over to film, and then jumped in front of the line to get through the one cleared lane.

Just another reason why stormchasers have a poor reputation with a lot of the public.

Interesting that there's already heavy equipment there working to clear the road.

So what is the reasoning for why the tornado watch box issued doesn't include this 'Particularly Dangerous Situation' tornado and the county it will move into?

Some tornado warnings in the Houston area.  I can confirm that one of my properties that was in the middle of a tor warn box did lose power and had a fence blown over by straight line type winds.  No trains were heard.

Do those discrete cells forming well east of the line, near Sheffield, TX, have potential to develop tornadoes? 

There were several unconfirmed calls of a touchdown for the other one at Agnes Road and FM 2759 (Booth, TX.)
