It's pretty gabbacool!

Just a weird weather day all around in NE. WWA in NNE, 80 on the sound, a big backdoor pushing hard in EMA, and now some big bangers/downpours. Better than a ULL cutoff with misery I suppose.

I passed through it coming up the hills on route 2, now it's blowing thru my hood. Was 66 when I got home and sunny. Temp dropping fast now, fog rolling in.

There was some decent excitement around when UMass BBall was good. Nothing like professional sports tho.

Yeah, I've never actually been there but seen people on it. Usually I'll go to Brigham, as that holds ice really well. Today was Cowee Pond in GVegas. In a little hollow behind a hill, tall white pines all around. The shading makes a huge difference, the far side that gets the sun was fully open.

Right near shore it was actually over 10". The thinnest I went to was 4", as that's minimum safe thickness. The cold temps the last two nights actually really hardened and locked it up pretty good The PFD is for when I go test the thickness lol. This place is only like 6 ft deep as well.

Still ice here in N ORH if you know where to find it! Definitely the last day though.

Yeah, Quabbin still really low. Not sure why folks are poo pooing the MOD drought status.

Cars covered, driveway was starting to get covered. RT 2 was starting to get a very-mini amount of slush in some spots, decent rates.

ice fishers might get a little more in this weekend

Yeah I'm without power, pretty big area too.

Mid DEC until late JAN wasn't great. Mostly dry with a couple rain events, and a couple torch periods.

I think we'll snow bigly. Things cool off so fast after sunset this time of year.
