  2. Wow. Never saw what I saw tonight. 4.35" so far and most of that since 6:00PM. Roads are close and it continues to pour with more incoming. Not good in the Northern Tier.
  3. 51 for the low. 54 currently. A few hot days next week and then summers over up here. Climo always wins. 70s and 40s in my future.
  4. 1.22" last night and 8.57" for the month. BGM closing in on 32" for the year and I am closing in on 35".
  5. 1.76" of rain last night up here. 7.27" for the month. Best my lawn has looked in a decade.
  6. Yes-storms in the Northern third of the state over-achieved. We received anouther 1.05" last night. Over 5" for the month. Cool and dry for the next few days. Looks awesome!
  7. 1.41" last night and now over 4" for the month. 19.42" since June 1st after not a drop in May.
  8. Flood Watch up for NEPA BGM Several waves a warm frontal boundary will enhance lift with overrunning moisture leading to development of widespread showers this evening. Areas of heavier rain will be embedded in the larger area of showers. Better chances for multiple rounds of heavier rain will be in NEPA and south central NY. Winds will be strong bringing in moisture pushing PW values to around 2 inches. Given the recent rain, flash flood guidance is low which is unusual for August. Several models now showing rainfall in excess of 1 inch with localized areas over 2 inches likely. Hi res models showing even more. As is, the potential for some typical poor drainage and small stream flooding is increasing.
  9. 1.15" for the day and 2.78" for August. The northern deluge continues.
  10. Tornado Warning just north of me. Heavy rain moving in now up here.
  11. Wow. I feel for south central PA. We had another .54 tonight. 9.77" for the month and nothing tropical. I can't remember that much rain up here in one month that did not have some kind of tropical engagement and I have been up here for 25 years.
  12. Route 6 in Clarks Summit yesterday afternoon.
  13. Crushed by that storm-wind and heavy rain here in Clarks Summit. 1.45 in rain over the past hour which puts me at 9.33" for the month. No mow evening.

  17. Over 6.00 now for July and 12.00 since June 1st. Crazy the differences in this forum North to South. I couldn't mow on Sunday due to my mower sinking in my lawn.

  19. Another .55 today and over 4" for the month. Over 10" since June 1st. Crazy. Drove back from Pittsburgh today and that storm that jumped up from Altoona and State College and along Route 80 was ridiculous. Want to see some of the rain totals from places from exit 164 out to 195 heading east. 80 was under water.
  20. Ended yesterday with .93 from 3 rounds of storms. Drought map shows what everyone is seeing across the state. NEPA has been wet since May.
  21. Serious cell just came through up here. .48 in 20 minutes with more upstream. Still a tale of two states on precip. I had 6" in June and already at 3.50 this month.
