That band is actually growing approaching nyc. It's gonna be intense.

Squall line is currently stretching from cincy,oh to albany,ny..awaiting it's arrival here in the bronx.

Thats how my area got close to 5..it kept snowing and piling up fast@24-25 degrees.

That band over and east of trenton,nj is not budging. Talk about staying power.

It's still flurrying outside. And cold..

4.7 here..3 inches short of my prediction. Although another good snow snower might get me to an even 5. The snow just kept going overnight.

The models did not have the low level/ivt trof moisture down. It's been snowing for over 2 hours now and the temp has dropped to 25f. Very fine snow just keeps accumulating.

Yeah its still coming down here in the bx.. im now over 4 inches here. Still snowing at a moderate clip atm.

Still snowing but def won't be the 6+ amounts. Cpk def got 3+ inches by now. The ivt also is currently over us.

We had 2.2 before the final bands came thru..3.6 down and still snowing lightly.

Sound effect snow in to the bx is crazy never seen that. We have 3+ inches here and it's still snowing.

Everything is covered here,moderate snow currently. It took minutes from nothing to a heavy dusting.

Going to the bar tonight in a snowstorm should be my highlight of the year. Ill take pics for sure. 24/9f nwbx. Awaiting the snow.

Im expecting the high end totals up here in the bronx. 8+ inches of high ratio fluff. The radar is looking better to our west also. The actual trajectory of the heaviest precip is diving south and east right in to nyc later or so it seems.

Snowing pretty good rn..that band is right over us atm.
