  1. What a brutal hobby when NW Texas is getting some snow than than the NE
  2. I may he speculating but hear me out: 2016 was a pretty memorable year in this AOR with the big blizzard during the end of January. Preceding that was something else unique; Extra Tropical Cyclone Alex. Reason I bring this up is because the LP system spinning up off the coast has tropical cyclone characteristics (so Ive read). Timing around these events is also very similar. Jan 13-15 2016 and Jan 20-22 2016. This is all just observation, superstition, whatever.. BUT even I can understand that Wx follows patterns and there a reason analogs are always brought up. So, could history repeat itself?
  3. Jan 20-27 may likely be our best an only shot. Then we burry this season.
  4. I vote running the boundary. Seeing the EURO go damn near West to East in a straight line got me jimmies going. Albeit with out moisture present
  5. Euro definitely brings the colder air in from around 186 through the end of the run.
  6. Absolutely. Much bigger problems in the world. This just used to be one of those hobbies that was innocent and pure enjoyment. Those are based off of the expectations though. Which clearly do not add up with the reality. The hope is still there, I likely will not stop until St Patricks day or when the true heavy hitters in here raise the white flag.
  7. I may need to put a parental block on Tropical Tidbits and Pivotal Weather. This is not great for me mental health.
  8. What’s slinging that LP back to the NW after it clears our area? Real wonky looking
  9. It is baffling. If I wasn’t going to NW Maine for a week in February I would be deeply depressed about this weather pattern.
  10. Don’t share this in the Mid Atlantic forum. They’re on the verge of a civil war.
  11. That’s like TCU celebrating those 7 points they scored against UGA.
  12. Just rain storm after rain storm from DC to Caribou Maine.
  13. Need to Euro to drop a Typhoon off the New England coast for 12Z
  14. At this point I’m pulling for just a dry pattern. The constant rain is nauseating.
  15. Yeah I do. Followed the Mid Atlantic forum for a long time before joining. So I naturally went there. thanks!
  16. Oh yeah, this is prime “I may just end it all” weather.
  17. Can I hang out here for a while? The current state of the Mid Atlantic forum makes me want to take a bath with a hair dryer.
  18. Massive rainstorm after massive rain storm eh? When do we start calling winter “Mud Season” ?
