    Oh if you’re thinking cold and wintry (more than a week or two), regardless of snow amounts, then yea those are dwindling away slowly. They’ll come back at some point though once the Pac cooperates again like 13/14. That was a good pac driven winter.

    I think closer to 8”. They should be able to pull off another 22”+ during the next 60 days, which is the height of snowfall climo, in a backloaded nino. But the way variance is running, betting the under is probably the sharp play. I just wouldn’t do it.

    It really hasn’t in the grand scheme of things though. It may feel like it because we’re constantly model watching and paying close attention but your last biggie was just 2yrs ago. Then you list 2018, 2015, 2013, 2011. That’s an insane stretch imo. So this stretch, as bad as it has been and feels, is nothing compared to some 20th century decades.

    Congrats on learning to skate. When I was your age though, we had months of frozen ponds and lakes. Hopefully those winters return for you while you’re still young.

    I wouldn’t mind dry warmth but I’m about done with rains. We could use a dry spring but we know that ain’t happening.

    Oh yeah I’m killing it over here. I still have surreal flashbacks from that system last March where my kids are playing in 3” of water logged snow while your kids are slapping you with a real estate book because you could only squeeze out white rain. I never thought such a small elevation increase around here mattered. Now I wish I had another 300’ of elevation…
