Clearly all the social distancing, masks, vaxx, etc work. We haven’t been sick since 2019 maybe and our kids haven’t either which is extremely rare. Daycare is generally a cesspool of various viruses where my daughter catches something and gifts it to us. That hasn’t happened. My son’s elementary school is all masked all the time with even stricter safety guidelines and he hasn’t even caught the sniffles. My wife and I not being stuffed in offices anymore with co-workers who are hacking and sneezing helps too. Yea, we’d like the pandemic to go away but I hope we become a little more conscious of sanitary measures moving forward.

Quick thoughts on next weekend? Any leans?

That’s Clown maps ftl though. Back in the old days there was more to it. I think models overall did a good job inside D3 indicating the features at play and the subtle trends nw along with the banding signal. Too often (myself included), we use qpf or clowns to paint a picture while being thrown off by all the models that run 24x per day. There is way too much noise these-days. Less is better. I’m still learning how to interpret soundings and fronto. I wish we could do a gtg but instead of listening to everyone’s drunken snow stories…it could be scooter, will, and others using a white board teaching us some met stuff. Eat, smoke, drink, and learn…

I can see that for sure. I’ll always be a cold/snow weather guy though. I like being out in it and especially now that my son is a weenie. I can’t deal with wind though. I’m the first one inside and I’ll leave his little ass out there.

Yea Tracking is sometimes more enjoyable, Dryslot feels the same IIRC. The science, the emotions, the shitshow in here…it’s a great way to spend time.

It was nice to weenie out for a bit and feel what could have been but the idea of an advisory/low end warning event was always the most likely outcome. Accept it and enjoy it.

Yea. Let the kids be kids. As in…let daddy go outside with son and daughter for hours to play in the snow.
