  1. It’s all gravy at this point anyway, just poured on school cafeteria style mashed potatoes.
  2. We’ve been faked out too often this season to believe these sudden colder trends in a herky jerky modeling winter.
  3. Please let that be. A monsoon summer would be extra depressing.
  4. It can be done but always, big money/power combined with our do nothing politicians is difficult to move.
  5. 12 team postseason this year but pitch clock, bigger bases, and restrictions to shifts are planned for 2023. Plus the 7 inning doubleheader and man on 2nd extra inning will be gone too. It’s still up to the owners who have the full power to implement these in 2023, if they chose to.
  6. Never thought of that. I just get mine re-gripped.
  7. It’s future contracts but still…welcome to America.
  8. Now that winter has faded and spring will soon be sprung…the best time of the year is upon us to play and talk about the best sport in the world. Have at it…
  9. A trash event which fits the tenure of the season.
  10. It’s a dangerous coating on grassy surfaces in interior wct while the kids get rushed out of school for early dismissal.
  11. He should start his own ‘truth’ forum specifically for NCTATT.
  12. Lol. 1” on grassy knolls and mulch piles is not my idea of March ‘delivering’.
  13. I wasn’t referring to the electric grid but ok bud since you asked. Less than 2% is from oil.
  14. It didn’t feel like it in Jan and Feb with decent cold, some pack, and many little penny events but then you look at the seasonal total and it’s cringe worthy. Just makes the entire season feel like a painfully drawn out pillow biting visit at a crackhouse.
  15. It’s time to ween ourselves off the oil tit.
  16. Agree. Anyway, there are bigger problems to address so for now…I’ll enjoy rolling up a coating of snow on the lawn with my kid for a miniature snowman.
  17. I know it’s not an easy decision. There was a guy who tried to show me up a few storms back on this very topic. I get it, sure…but it’s their job and they have the best forecasters supposedly advising them. We should never put teachers and students in danger, absolutely, but their seems to be minimal attention on the affects to parents. We both wfh so no big deal but we not all parents can and not all parents can take PTO either. The worst is daycare though. When they close, you still pay for the day and end up scrambling to find a sitter, which you pay $15-$20/hr for. It’s a double whammy, fairly substantial imo. All I am saying is to make the hit on families worthwhile. A true ‘snowstorm’ closure.
  18. Spot on. Laziness has not changed. It’s an American past time.
  19. They’ve had a terrible season up here…matching the snow output from mother nature. Ratter all around.
