We haven’t gusted over 35mph here yet. Some limbs down on the east side of town but we’ve been spared so far. Women and children are packed though, ready to flee if round 2 rips our home off its foundation.

What makes me anxious though is the long duration winds. You get 25mph sustained with gusts to even 40mph over 6+ hours around here and there will be power outages.

It’s been pretty bad the last few winters. Could be recency bias but they seem more prone to mid range errors and 11th hour hiccups.
