  1. Many pissed off people today that slept through that good stuff got up saying wtf happened. Bad timing overnight snow is a thing.
  2. Also this puffed full of air snow is melting hellaciously in the February sun even under mostly cloudy skies. Already dropped 2" depth.
  3. Here I was thinking I was seeing epicosity last night (did for one hour) only to find out the real deal was only about three miles away where 12-15" fell. All I did was suck death band exhaust for 8.7" Doesn't look like any additional fell this morning
  4. The very center of the frontogenic band wow. To think they saw 50% heavier snow than me is unreal. Just six miles from here.
  5. Last flakes here from the primary low 8.7" total Could be some additional later
  6. I could be wrong but I think that is Ralphs snow squalls and what the NWS mentions from between 10am and noon.
  7. Good to see you guys beat the HRRR/RAP/SREF/ICON(lol) subsidence zone
  8. I hit 5" in an hour from that frontogenic band it was stacked dendrites with air pockets and looks like cotton candy now over 8" it was nuts
  9. There is so much air between these fluffy stacked dendrites the sun angle is going to melt it like a torch tomorrow
  10. Checking radar the storm is hauling will be clearing PA in under two hours.
  11. The band held together and is beginning to retrograde as the storm pivots south it's the best of all worlds
  12. I already said I live north of Qtown I am only 8 miles south of Macungie, Qtown proper was SOUTH of the band Right I am over 6"
  13. High ratio fluffy cotton candy fake looking snow it was nuts
  14. No thundersnow and dead calm winds I hit 5" in an hour
  15. Eh closer to 20 minutes away actually I am in Steinsburg a NW Qtown "burb" The band is I78 east to Metuchen, NJ
  16. I will have to dig out the ancient scrolls from the 80's and 90's I think 2.5" an hour is the heaviest snow I have witnessed. That band was dropping 4-5" an hour.
  17. Wow what a spot you essentially live in the mountains you got us all beat
