  1. I got 0.01" out of that an hour ago as it blew past. Currently 68 and overcast and kindof soupy.
  2. I am on the southern fringe of that yellow/orange blob just below your position and it dumped 0.29" of rain on me between 5:30 am and 6 am. Ended up getting 0.02" yesterday evening after the on and off spritzing during the day and had a scant 0.01" early this morning before the brief 1.5"/hr downpour. Currently overcast and 62.
  3. It's been weird today with the battle of the air masses, with humid air fighting chilly dry air and mixing it all up. Have had on and off very light rain but not enough at one time to tip the bucket (so far). It's been more than mist or drizzle but less than a light stratiform shower... It's almost like those on and off tropical spritzes but without the tropical temperatures. Currently spritzing and 67, after a high of 71.
  4. Cloud deck is starting to break up quickly now with some blue visible and sun popping out. Ended up with 0.04" from this morning's light rain (enough to wet the ground and plant foliage). Will probably still have to pull out the hose. Temp up to 71.
  5. Finally getting a very light rain. It's been going for about 15 minutes and it finally tipped the bucket for 0.01" (so far). May still have to pull out the hose today. Temp is currently 69.
  6. Wow. Not a (measurable) drop of rain. I expected at least something overnight but that drier air meant business and continued to evaporate the stuff away as it approached (so far). Will see if any leftovers make it here later this morning.
  7. It wasn't until sometime after 6 pm when I started feeling a bit of a breeze and some air mixing. Will have to see if any of that makes it here although the heaviest may stay south. We might get the heavier stuff over the weekend though. Currently 78 and overcast. Happy first day of summer tomorrow morning at 6 am ET I believe!
  8. Actually had the same high today as yesterday - 87 - which was surprising given today was progged as the "cooler" day. The mixing of dry air from yesterday (with the noticeable breeze) was missing today, so it actually felt warmer today as well (probably because there was more sun too). The drier air has been evaporating some of the showers to the west though. It's currently clouding over now and 85.
  9. The cool front has moved through and starting to feel the difference in the air with the breeze. High so far today was 87 here and the generally overcast sky most of the morning and early afternoon kept the temps down under 90. Currently 86 with mostly blue sky and just a few puffy cumulus.
  10. Ended up with 0.15" of rain from the thundershower last night. Currently 78 and mostly cloudy. Seeing some scattered showers off to the west and am not sure how the temps will respond today with the front pressing down from the north and the current overcast. It will depend on whether the sun can break out in full before the front arrives.
  11. And I'm getting the side-swipe. Got the SVR alert and was able to go out and put my umbrella down just as the large raindrops started falling with some gusts of wind. Good timing Mt. Holly! Edit to add, getting thunder and up to 0.07" of rain so far. Didn't get chance to water a hanging plant after the heat today so won't have to after this!
  12. May get sideswiped by that line coming down from the NW. In other news, I finally saw my first lightning bug. It was just one but hey... Currently 85 at post time with a bit of a breeze but still soupy out.
  13. I managed to just tap 93 around 3:15 and am now down to 92, so I think that will be the high here for today. It has definitely been a blast furnace out there due to the humidity! It's clouding up a bit though and is only partly sunny. There are some pop-up cells south of here and a line rolling in from the NW on the radar. Don't know if that northern line will actually drop down as far as the Delaware Valley but they will probably get some of that up in the Scranton area and possibly the Poconos and Lehigh Valley.
  14. Tied my yesterday's high at noon today. Currently 91 and partly cloudy w/dews in the 60s.
  15. Hit 90 just after 11:15... Didn't hit that until around 2:30 pm yesterday. Off to the races!
  16. Currently 88 here, about 3 degrees warmer than this time yesterday. Still on track to hit or exceed yesterday's high here of 91. Dews in the mid-60s vs yesterday's mid-50s.
  17. Temp currently 79, a degree warmer than this time yesterday. Guessing it may hit a similar high here today as yesterday (91), within a couple degrees.
  18. Just bottomed out at 69 this morning and on the way up now. Currently 70 and partly cloudy with dp 69. Not too bad out with that but it will be sizzling soon enough.
  19. Just hit 91 within the past couple minutes. Dewpoint 62. Winds have been light and there's a few fair weather cumulus in the sky. Will see if this will end up being day 1 of the first heatwave of the season!
  20. After a low of 63 this morning (surprising, although shouldn't be due to calm overnight conditions and good radiational cooling), the temp was up to 78 by 8 am (vs yesterday where it went from 58 to 75 by 9 am). So off to the races.
  21. Was 58 for a low here earlier this morning but sun is out and it is already up to 75 at 9 am. Am going to give some of my plants a good soaking this morning so I (hopefully) won't have to do it in the Monday/Tuesday blaze.
  22. Something blew through just after 2 am here and deposited 0.05" of rain. The temp had held steady ~75 before the rain and dropped the temp down to 68 post-rain. Currently 67 and partly cloudy.
  23. It was 15 degrees warmer this morning than the same times yesterday morning and the dews are up. However the overcast sky has slowed the temp rise so far. Currently 76 and cloudy.
  24. Happy Birthday! This is Birds69 weather this morning. Currently clear and just barely 50 here. Across the county line in Wyndmoor, it's in the upper 40s all around the town and much of the rest of Springfield and Cheltenham Townships. And it is nearly mid-June!
  25. Looks like the heaviest has pushed south of the city now. Ended up (so far) with 1.07" today at post time, for a 3.50" 2-day total, and 5.04" for the month to date. Currently 56 and overcast with some mist.
