  1. Don't you want El Nino for super phased events? I thought Nina created a weaker subtropical jet.
  2. Was just at Ingles and manager was talking about not having a truck in 4 days. Shelves are getting bare. Stock up!
  3. High to the NW of the low is 1-3 mb weaker overall. Precip expanded West because of it. Models have been overdoing the high like the last system.
  4. Nobody here is going to be able to give you that answer because the system is still many days away still and models are variable. Best thing you can do is revisit your cancellation policy and go from there as the possible event draws near.
  5. I remember one winter the air was so cold and dry, it suppressed and squashed the system off the coast. Forecasted to get a foot of snow and ended up with sun. My weenie heart broke that day.
  6. Kuchera for the 12z Euro has at least a foot of snow for almost all of I-85 North in the western piedmont and foothills! This winter is for sure overperforming my expectations by a mile!
  7. About 8.5 inches here in asheville with 15 inch drifts. That's after compaction also.
  8. Drifts up to a foot in places here now. Whiteout conditions. I'm stunned.
  9. Up to at least 7 inches here in Asheville. NAM completely busted for my area.
  10. Here you go -> http://coolwx.com/cgi-bin/getanalysis.cgi?region=NC&time=current&field=bulb
  11. Wetbulb's don't look too bad, can see the CAD working in.
  12. Lord have mercy! Catastrophic damage coming if this verifies.
  13. I already cracked open a beer. It's 6pm somewhere in the world.
  14. Balmy 40 degrees and here in Asheville already. Still think at least 2-4" of snow for me ... hopefully lol
  15. 0z national blend of models now has under 6 inches of Snow for asheville. Should have managed my expectations better. Expecting 3-6 inches with 1.5 of sleet/freezing rain.
  16. It's beyond me how anyone can be upset with this great pattern after 60's and 70's and dry december.
