It'll be interesting to see the 10 mile difference, if any at all, between my home in Middletown, five minutes north of Walmart and my business in the village of Florida with this kind of disagreement in models. Looking to pickup an Ambient Weather WS5000, Wondering how the remote access and login work? Is there ability to create multiple logins? Can I add multiple units to one login? We're right outside the jack zone so please send guidance 50 miles south. We haven't gotten a 12 inch event down here in the HV this year. Thanks! On a side note, this should setup next weekend to be a good riding weekend (the 4th) along with the few other potential events for next week.

My other buddy who isn't there had his chain break and then on top of that said he felt "squishy" on the rear end and found out one of the shocks was Un olted and he was slamming onto the rear skid while riding for like three hundred miles. Looking real good for us here in the Hudson Valley finally. Although five days out still eh. Didn't go snowmobiling this weekend even though trails were somewhat rideable up there, gonna try the weekend of the 4th hopefully it's good. Fingers crossed we all benefit from this storm. I've been eyeballing next weekend like a hawk as presidents day weekend is usually one of our big trips upstate and all i've been seeing (mostly) is rain. I hope this comes true and we see some changes over the next 3-5 days, would be dope to get dumped on again while up there! And would be dope to see you guys get more snow of course

Morning Morning folks, Heavy rain yesterday and I believe we didn't get much higher than 42. Surprisingly we lost snow pack but not as bad as our friends to the south. Morning folks! Dave, good luck with your Ski trip, should be a banger this weekend. 40 degrees and light rain here in the HV. Wondering if our 1-2" might move towards 2-3 or something because of the shifts. I saw some pink on the map north of us in Ulster, kinda early for freezing rain. Conditions are obviously good here since its been all rain eyeball that transition timing. Wife and coworkers of hers already asking for what the deal is tomorrow and I said "A whole lotta shit"

My warehouse sits on the same property as a small self-wash (bay wash) that the owner of the brewery brought back to life (he owns our building plus that building) The last three days have been the busiest I've ever seen it in the last 4 months since I moved in there. I completely get it, I wash my car once a week regardless of weather (I did this once during 15 degree weather with a slight windchill and paid for it.. I almost couldn't get back into my car it was so frozen over.). I'm tempted to pickup a pressure washer for the sleds and my car and the warehouse (floors + door etc)because everything needs a good wash. Anyway end rant sorry lol. Balmy 45 here in Middletown, patiently awaiting that massive rain to clean everything and then it looks like NYC office is predicting .10-.15 of ice for us. Fun times.

Looks like quite a bit of ice and slop for us herein the HV Friday. I guess I am not coming into the warehouse that day. Long range looks cold based on the GFS which is good.. more chances at statewide snow hopefully. Happy you guys are getting hammered. ADK and Tug still need more snow, moreso ADK. Helps the businesses that's for sure. The last time I golfed I used two boxes of balls, I dont think that's supposed to happen.

Conditions should be good up at Tupper / Big Moose / OF / Stillwater if this storm stays the way it does. Gonna be some sick riding next weekend. I'd even ride Thursday, nothing like fresh pow. Enjoy it!

You really see it riding the entire area on snowmobile. It's fascinating. I remember when I was younger and we would go up, there would be no snow in Utica and we would be like what the heck man. And then there is a point going up 12 where it just hits and they have insane amounts piled everywhere. Best feeling ever. Then going from lyons falls up the hill was even crazier. Love that area.. Completely agree but I'd rather that GFS solution over all rain... I guess down here it doesnt matter as much as long as upstate gets hammered for everyone else on the forum and my snowmobiling trips That's a whole lotta freezing rain.

This event is insanely long for us here in the HV. Something like 36 hours of precipitation from Rain to freezing rain to lots of sleet to snow???? Looks like GFS is a rather big hit for CNY - Albany to Boston?? Time to move to Boston? lol
