I dont understand  the need for more heavy rain..nowhere close to drought period..rained 2 inches over thurs-sat and 3 inches the propr week

i have had 2.32 in the last 7 days and over 12 inches the past 50 days so I am wishing for an extended 4 week period with no rain and that hot dry late August/September feels
