Guys my post was tongue in cheek. Guess that didn’t come through. You can’t take any of my posts seriously. I literally don’t care if it snows or not. I’ve been liking the warm weather.

So you don’t trust models past day 5 but you trust that a day 8 or 9 depiction of a storm that is not going to deliver snow to be correct?

You guys say that big ones get sniffed early … I think this may very well be a big one.

The storm next weekend has a lot of potential I would think.

I think the potential to go back to back on storms is at least possible next week.

But when does that fall? Is any of it this weekend?

Regarding the game … let’s be honest … if this player had been a horrible car crash before the game, they would have played. It’s the fact that it happened on the field. Stopping the game was the correct call, but they should have completed the game the next day. The Cubs and Cardinals played a game the day after Darryl Kile was found dead in his hotel room. Not being harsh, it’s just reality. Playing the game would not be jeopardizing the health of this player and the fact is, life doesn’t stop or wait. Just my opinion.

The incessant rain that would not stop here all summer.

I’ll go one further … cutters that slam on the brakes over central Ill/Ind don’t do that at all and end up on a track that works for us. 1040 highs don’t usually disappear in 6 hours either

Do you apply that philosophy in other areas?

I think they’d have to eliminate the off week before the Super Bowl then. I’d think you can’t just postpone an event as large as that one. I guess that’s what you were saying. The pro bowl takes place that week I guess.

Thing is you just can’t cancel games for this reason. Seems harsh but that’s not my intent. Stopping it was the right thing to do but now there is no threat to any players playing so I think you have to play it. Inconvenient to do so but it should be played.
