    My guess is the reason the snow maps from LWX made such a large jump is due to the ratios. I just think the maps we are looking at don’t have a grip on that aspect.

    If these precip amounts are correct the snowfall totals are wrong

    The snow maps on the NAM are wacky. The Kuchera map is showing less than the 10:1 for my area. There is no way in hell with the sounding that it shows that I’d be less than 10:1

    So far it’s wetter to our south and west in Ky but that probably doesn’t mean anything

    Doubt it. Somewhere in the March 8-20 is typically some type of event.

    Looks like a moistening trend has commenced. I think ratios will be higher than 10:1 with this one. We could have some pushing 6” if those precip amounts are accurate. Wonder when the first NAMing will happen? Today I’m thinking.
