  1. Like the trends. Juicier system that now the models are realizing is gonna have a tough time going north.
  2. It’s uncanny how good that model is 24 hours out. Lol
  3. Gonna go on a limb here and say that by the end of the month the entire region tallies somewhere between 8-20”.
  4. And I was only piggy backing on what he’d been saying in my usual, sarcastic, lovable manner
  5. The 6z para at least leaves the door open to chances. I also thought the 6z regular gfs looked better. I think @leesburg 04 is on to something. I already know he’s on something. By tomorrow morning I think we will have a much clearer picture of what’s coming.
  6. Really. The gfs is like spinning the wheel in wheel of fortune. Every spin gives a different result
  7. One thing about it though ... a storm of some sort in this time range has been on the models a while now
  8. Wait is this Avaition Dave? Holy cow haven’t seen you post in forever
  9. If that storm could have transferred and then rode the coast a bit we would have been hammered. It had the look early of a great one.
  10. There is so much suppression that literally nothing can hold together or climb north at all. The same thing that is eliminating cutters is also eliminating everything else. We have to get some relaxation in that confluence.
  11. Draw a line from about Paducah to Cleveland. Lows to the south of that line can deliver a good thump at the very least. North of that, I agree with you.
  12. Sure hope that never happens. You accumulate 3/4” of ice on trees and power lines it would be devastating. No thanks
  13. Where was December cold? January is above normal here but mainly due to overnight lows. Both months have been pretty much the same with Jan running about 2 degrees cooler than December
