  1. I was noticing this but figured I must be weenying because nobody mentioned it. Thanks Fella. We getting that xmas grincher though.
  2. Leading into christmas looks kinda balmy.
  3. Today was torchy by me. But things look good. If we could have a rockin December, I'd give up a part of Jan. Models look like this has a chance to come true. "Models" = the one GFS one I clicked thru while 2 IPAs deep. Cheers and enjoy model watching. Let the weenies have their fun, every year there's less of a chance for us
  4. Fully prepared for a festivus grinch storm. Never known the holidays without one.
  5. Best run I've ever seen in my fairly new religious model watching obsession. I'm happy. I see people posting in here that for the past decade, usually only comment negative soundings. I think we can all agree this has legs. SMASH that weenie button
  6. That CAD idea this weekend has legs....and hmmm, I'll be damned but...the models pretty much giving us the goods. Looks like we could get something significant before the solstice.
  7. A sight for sore eyes. That would be tasty. I'm sure it will oscillate and shift and play with our emotions a bit...but as everyone else has said, it's kinda exciting to be able to track multiple things that aren't historic torches.
  8. I have nightmares where I'm just doing this. Refreshing TT pages and holding back tears as cicadas sound nearby in the December dusk.
  9. I have $10,000 on Xmas eve smelling like summer camp.
  10. View from the new house looks like winter to me. Festive. Models give me a similar feeling.
  11. High latitudes and elevations avoid the rain this weekend?
  12. GFS and EURO both active thru the holidays...the cold air nearby is meh, so I'm gonna guess it's rain/cut, but there's a chance we sneak in something wintry.
  13. The 18z GFS had some almost-tasty imagery on there. Festive-ish?
  14. It's dead in here. What a boring stretch. Models look to continue a zonal theme for the extended. That can be good...I guess I gotta hold out till April again to get anything good
  15. Would love to see it! Models have been all time bad. I think we have yet to see all the factors that will play into this winters weather, and I can’t complain about the dustings so far...some Decembers you can’t even get that.
  16. If one decides to go ahead and dig a little deeper than just "playing the numbers" of a statistically-likely warm forecast, the last several runs of the american model depict nonstop cutters to the west of this region, i.e. the midwest and western New York, and several of those are all rain even for Toledo. I've not looked at the Euro, but I imagine it is singing a similar melody. The models are not to be trusted, they say.....maybe we'll get a miracle. I don't think this winter will be as balmy as the last couple, but I do think that these small scale weather trends reflect a large change that will have to be accepted sooner rather than later. A peaceful day to you all!
