    Models look great right now...Just as they did last week at this time. Still not sold.

    Although most have missed out snow wise so far (at least to have more than a trace-dusting), this is very quickly turning into a winter to remember. If we get another solid run in February, it'll at least be the most exciting winter for the past several years in the SE.

    Im going to disagree...slightly.... id argue the lighter QPF is a worse outcome as the heavier rates on the higher QPF solutions potentially might not freeze as fast and have more runoff, whereas the lighter solutions might include more of a "drizzle" which could freeze instantly. However thats more of like a hypothetical argument.

    Im feeling like we're entering the bottom of the 9th right now for this storm. I think 0z is gonna tell a lot for any last "noticeable" changes in overall setup. Though maybe not. My pre-workout just kicked in and im jacked.

    Feeling the same. By no means is this a snowstorm (or...any snow?) for charlotte AT ALL. But if I can have a higher shot at increased sleet and less ice, imma be stoked considering.... As much as I like snow and winter weather. I dont want to be without power for a couple of days with another system potentially lurking.

    This almost qualifies as banter, but that second LP if it were to be just a bit more south is almost in a perfect spot for the Carolinas for a big snowstorm if the HP held.

    I dont think ive drank a thing today yet, but watching the first lob of moisture literally chase away the HP on the 18z NAM had me cackling at work.
