Got home at 4 and my thermometer is saying -5, not sure what the exact high or low was here. Just glad to get some winter temperatures.

Not sure what my final low was but had -8 at 2am

Looks like 2" total from yesterday. I didn't expect the temperatures to get so low last night, -9 at 7:30am

Snow just picked up a little bit here, at 1.5" right now. Feels and looks like one of those days it could snow all day

Lol no I know you were, funny stuff. I don't know if the contract is still in place or not, but when I worked for the National Cemetery Administration all our granite headstones came from Barre, pretty amazing volume wise for such a small town.

Haha yea that's the concrete jungle over there, but in actuality it's just a blip on the map to 99% of New England. It was -8 at 7 when I went outside, not sure if that was the low or not but somewhere around there.

Just a dusting today of new snow. Look like about 5 inches on the ground.

Interesting, thank you for that information! It is snowing pretty good right now, up to 1/2" I would guess. 26° at 4pm and a little windy.

I don't know if any of you guys follow the weather ("eye on the sky") out of the Fairbanks Museum in Saint Johnsbury, but they give little notes about weather every day. I found this one interesting this morning, as this seems to be a hot topic around Christmas: Pre-Christmas thaws are not uncommon, as average temperatures on the Fairbanks Museum weather records, extending back 125 years, climb about 2 degrees from the 22nd to the 26th.

The warmest I saw here was 44 at 3 o'clock, not sure if it's gone up since then or not. Cloudy and foggy almost the whole day.

Burst of snow and wind last night put a quick layer down, don't know when turned to rain but the road is a sheet of ice.

Around 1.5 here at 8 o'clock, still some snow coming down.

At 6 am was 22° with lots of wind and light snow showers. Have transitioned to flurries and blowing snow. Around 3" on the ground with crunchy ice on top.

Light snow right now plus the little light snow and flurries we've been getting over the past days has been keeping it looking nice and wintery
