    Been a solid 5 hours now of moderate to heavy snow. Still have hours and hours to go and still haven’t gotten into the real good stuff.

    About 4” here, winds are picking up.

    Coming down pretty good right now, snow is coming down almost completely sideways.

    Have an 1 1/2 so far, 32 degrees. Went for a walk and it’s basically perfect snowball snow right now.

    Probably 1-4-1/2” here. Should have an inch in the next 30 minutes.

    Looks like our first decent band for SEMA is about to move in.

    I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a storm. Feel like a kid again.

    I might of told someone 15-20 foot drifts were possible. If only they knew my username on here.

    Looks like every flake is sticking right from the get go. Something that you don’t see too often in this area.

    Any smart person here know if today’s light snow through the day helps to saturate the atmosphere?

    Flurries here! I am maybe a mile from EWB. It’s actually light snow already, saw the first flake and then looked again and it was light snow.

    So did I! I immediately was like ooooh boy! Feel like they stopped doing it because everyone gets information online. Kinda makes it feel like a bigger storm for some reason. Anyone else caught in between staying up for the beginning and going to bed to see the whole peak of it?

    For the first time that I can remember since I was a kid, they just had the police car going around with the siren and saying the parking ban is in effect. Legit have not heard that in soooooooo long. Let’s go fellas this is gonna be a big one!

    It’s finally here! Feel like this has been months in the making. Kinda cool watching that first band accelerate almost, after getting past LI.

    Had flurries and light snow for about two hours now. Nothing has stuck though.

    Sounds like a tough decision, but have you considered the blizzard part? It might be pretty crazy… At the same time though, at some point another big storm will happen. Just impossible to say when, or even if this one completely works out. Flip a coin. If it comes up you don’t go and it’s not a relief, just go anyway.
