    Nam is bringing snowfall to the N GA mountains. LOL.

    Nothing but flurries and very light snow where I am. Very little accumulation. I took a drive (carefully) to the NE ATL suburbs though, and they have an inch or two.

    Same here, I'd take those few inches of snow for me and run at this point.

    I've noticed a lack of snow coverage for N GA on the Euro and GFS compared to the Canadian models. I know the NAM has a moisture and humidity bias, so it's a bit worrying to me that the Canadian models have a larger precip shield than even the NAM. Not sure if ATL will cash in at all...

    I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. If nothing much changes by tomorrow night's 00z runs, though, I'll give up on this one and hope for flurries at best.

    The recent RGEM runs have light precip beginning way further west and into other states besides the Carolinas.

    It needs to either trend west or develop sooner along the Gulf Coast so that Metro ATL can get in on some fun. At this point, it's hard to say the likelihood of the latter. Probably unlikely. But after this past weekend, I feel that anything's possible.

    Mid-day today before the slight warm-up I measured 1/8" of freezing rain here in the western suburbs of ATL. Kind of a disappointment waking up, but at least we got some before the precip dried out in the early morning.
