    Had a very light sprinkle for about 5 minutes yesterday in the Blythewood area. Some of our plants are starting to wilt from the very long period of no rain.

    Sure hope it does, but I will believe it when it's falling from the sky. Parts of the Columbia area hasn't seen measureable rain in almost a month.

    Still no rain or storms here. Getting close to 4 weeks with no measurable rain here.

    Me too. We just avoided triple digits here. But a nasty string of 96-98 degree highs. Still very dry.

    Looks like most of SC misses out on storms today. Sigh. Guess we wait till at least the middle of next week before anymore rain chances.

    Let's switch places then. Most areas east of the mountains are running quite dry this year, and it's been very warm too.

    Robert posted on Facebook today. Heat wave looks to last at least 10 days. He's talking about temps approaching 100 from N Florida to Virginia. I hate these death ridges.

    I have found a house. I will be moving to Christiansburg VA in June from Columbia SC.

    I will be moving from Columbia SC to the Roanoke VA area this summer. Any members here from that area, and what weather they get there.
