Snowing 29* 1/2 inch on the colder surfaces roads and sidewalks covered. Hoping to get a few inches here 

Nws snow map is very conservative. Less than an inch for nyc metro. However the 1 in 10 chance map is 6" for the city 

Ukie looks good for next weekend 

I know it's a day 10 op but what a block on the 12z cmc. If that verified we could be looking at a big dog sometime around the 20 to 22

Yup. Plus all s/w seem to be dampening as they come east. Makes sense in such a fast flow with blocking haven't been established yet. Could keep all three events mainly frz

Cmc also gearing up at day 10. Models going to have a tough time figuring out all the s/w. I feel optimistic we will get at least one to hit us especially with the arctic cold coming up.

I'm in mt vernon snowing moderately right now. Roads salted but a nice coating on the driveway sidewalk and grass

Had a few hours of moderate snow solid coating on colder surfaces. Snow let up but snowing moderately again. Radar filling in nicely
