No way. There will be a sleet zone in there.
My point is it's not going to sleet for 12 hours.

With 2-2.5” of qpf being modeled .. I’m not following ?
Conditions would have to be perfect to get sleet only. I'm leaning towards the warmer GFS solution just solely based on how this winter has gone. I think you go S-R-Z-IP-S and the sleet is marginal.

3-4" of sleet, lol. WOTYA

I post them for entertainment value. I'll prolly end up with 8 inches of sand.

Every bit helps Ray, I've been appreciating the 90 or so miles of latitude, especially this winter! You're in a good spot for this one.

EC looks a little warmer to me. Brings the rain to Boston. But that's almost a perfect track for this forum.

If that is all snow, Cape Cod would be buried between 40-48" of snow
No doubt. Lock it up!

Every single poster here would take that . There’s not one that wouldn’t
Actually, that would be a letdown to me at this point. I'll be up north, so hoping it's all white.

Just woke up. Moderate snow 3/4" so you should flip soon as heavy precip moves in. Maybe a fun few hours
Edit 31.0F
I'm in Lowell for this event. We hovered around 32 all night, a little ice, but just rain. Cabin getting it pretty good based on the webcam. Looks like it'll pivot up in our area. 32.5/31 Lowell, 29.4/29 Thornton.
-
Been holding at 32.2 for a couple hours. Looks like plain rain even though there's still a glaze on the grass and even in the trees left over from last night.
-
Everything glazing over. Have a feeling temps are going to hold steady or maybe even slowly drop a fraction of a degree. 31.6/31
-
As shown on the meso models (and as GYX stated) someone going to get a solid dumping at that pivot point.
-
lol on the NAM 3k, commaheads my backyard up north. What am I doing in Lowell?
-
Heavy dusting in Lowell, maybe 0.2" if I stant stick it, 28.0/26. Looks like 2-3" up north on my webcam, 15.8/14.

Where is that table?

Congrats Alex
No doubt. He's having above average winter and should cash in on another foot. But all the whites, and even into the foothills are probably above average. Dendrite?

Once again gradient setting up in South/Central New Hampshire.

No thread for Sunday's storm? First glimpse of the day at models, but king thinks so even if it's a little too late for a phase with northern stream.

I mentioned I've been leaning towards the warmer GFS solution (only based on how things have gone this winter). His area forecast mentions it, and GFS soundings show it. I'm not buying the 38F surface temp, but precip at that time is going to be pounding through about 4k' of above freezing temps. I'm hoping for his sake it doesn't happen.
