  2. The last two times I went to Florida were in October, which was FLL to Key West (roughly). I did not see a t-storm in 2.5 weeks.

  7. Was in Orleans/Brewster earlier this week, it's lush green down there. Looked like summer
  8. Worked in Swansea MA, Warren RI today. Beautiful area and stellar morning, had never fully explored this area until today. 48 along the water while 35 just inland

  10. I remember the blizzard warnings vividly, but the storm busted in N Bristol County. Only had around 5-8" in N Attleboro, while Franklin MA had 12-18" (highest numbers with some elevation). That's like 5 miles

  16. True. Looking back, Katrina did have a long fetch off the GS and eventually FL Straights juicing it up, aided by the SW movement, so probably not the textbook example.
  17. Katrina was a decent example in S FL, it's structure actually improved over the everglades iirc.

  19. Intensity forecasting is a nightmare, no doubt. I went 110mph LF back on Monday, which I thought was aggressive at the time, and it ended up extremely conservative
