I remember heavy sleet.. the forecast before the storm kept going up, I think we maxed out at 30-36" expected in Baltimore city, then 2 days before it was suppose to mix and we even had forecasts up to 2' of snow the day of, but it ended up being 12" + a lot of sleet (3-4")
We had like 5 inches of sleet on top of over a foot of snow. Only time in life that I have ever slipped and fell in my front yard. And didnt even punch through the frozen sleet glacier. It was nuts. One of the craziest storms of my life. But far from a favorite. 2016 will always be king daddy here.

Idk, I get moth fever hard by April so even out by DCL I don't like seeing snow that late!
Speaking of mountains...I was the first person on the summit of Mount Rainier this past August when me and a co-worker climbed. We got the summit all to ourselves for 45min as the sun came up with 20 below wind chills. I even had to pee on the summit during which time I deduced that I was making the highest elevation pee in the entire lower 48 (airplanes aside) that morning. Life milestone achieved.

Amazing. Was on my bucket list as a young man. But now I am old and will never do it. Great shot though.

After 4 years my luck finally ran out. Got Covid. Feel like ass
Hope you feel better soon. I had it for the 4th time about a month ago. Outside sales suck for that reason alone.

Came here to say the same thing, lol Man I hope this is true...this would be the absolute perfect week from this news to drop!!!
1.6 Billion profit? Not a bad haul. Who woulda thunk we could get rid of Snyder and Angelos in one year? Beautiful thing.

This one is probably gone. Trending too far south on everything.
ICON does have a snow shower roll through the region. Sorry ya'll. I ruined this event.

I dont even see his posts. He has been on ignore for weeks. He adds absolutely nothing of value to this board. Nothing.

Euro shows chumped
It actually looks similar to the UK. Just a touch drier.

UK favors the central Shen Valley. Down around Harrisonburg.

I remember clippers. They use to be cold, dry systems. Most of the time you just get gray sky, cold temps and flurries. Once in a while we'd get a whopper (2-4") cold smoker. Seriously. What happened to clippers?
I can remember Maulers dropping far more than 2-4. It is usually better north of here obviously. But we are due for one.

GFS is decent west of 15 as Terpeast mentioned above. Temps are iffy. But some snow tv at least.

ICON is a miss this run. Just too far south.

I started a thread for the Wednesday clipper. If it fails blame me.

All guidance is pretty consistent about a clipper affecting the area for the 31st. Meso models look eerily similar. With an inch or two for us. We are due again.

I dont ever remember seeing a map like this in my life. SW VA gets worked this run.

NAM targeting NOVA for the clipper. Somebody start a thread. We are gonna have storm threads every few days for the next month I think. Insanity.

Based on the height anomaly maps, every wave is digging insanely far south so I think a Carolina crusher is more likely for the 6th. But of course you never know.
Yeah. That is a brick frikin wall to the north. But at this range we have no idea where that wall will set up.

So if this "super block" ends up just slightly weaker than currently advertized, then we could potentially have a KU storm around Feb 6?
I think the potential is there regardless. And not just for the 6th. February has a chance to be really special.

Norfolk to Buffalo jackpot with a DC snow hole?! I think this looks pretty realistic tbh
One of the rare occasions where the Pittsburgh rule would crash and burn. Glad to see some stuff showing up in the longer range to track at least.

Just looked that up. You may know, but I didn’t. That happened in China in 2018. All 15 on that bus died. Incredible that that little flimsy railing was all that was there.
Had no idea. Just search for a bus crash gif. Sad situation.
Mid/Late February will be rocking. (This year we mean it!) February long range discussion.

I still think we score at least one big one before its over. Would just align with enso. We will get one to work out. It might only stick around for a few days, But whatever.
