    The Euro actually adjusted the precip max pretty close to where the NAM had it. It just isnt as juicy. So happy everyone in the forum has a warning level event to share. It has been a while.

    Some reports of flakes making it to the ground in the central Shenandoah Valley. Shouldnt be too long for those of us to the west.

    Yep. Very little. Yes. I have to drive in the most hellacious traffic every day for HOURS. But there is a huge benefit to that.

    26/11 Just took the dog for a nice long walk. High clouds off in the distance. Stars to the east. But not to the west. It just SMELLS like a snow storm to me. Maybe a placebo effect?

    I was here for all of them. It is amazing the differences that occur in accumulations in our subforum. 79 was not a huge event west. But east got slammed. 2003 I got absolutely mauled while east was a nice storm. 96. Just crushed all of us as well as 2010. But the second 2010 event was huge east and north of me. trix got like 10+ more inches than me just 10 miles to my north from the second event. It is a wild area that we live in when it comes to snow.

    Ill never forget this Feb 2010 satellite image because it shows the NYC north screw job so well. Probably a once in 20 year type event.
