  1. And again, 0z Euro is tucked just inside the bay at this time frame, making it the 3rd most western outcome
  2. Haha I'm mentally preparing myself for at least some mixing/rain, it'd be irresponsible for me not to
  3. Feels good to have wiggle room this close in
  4. hey no complaints from me if it does I didn't care at all about snow until winter of 2017-18 so this is all really new for me. It's very exciting
  5. 0z suite tonight is gonna be epic
  6. Woah. The commenters are probably right honestly, we've been trading away our future for years now after the 2 cups runs and I've personally gotten more annoyed with Rutherford every year. He's signed a number of mediocre older players to big contracts. Our core isn't getting younger. I know we still might have a window with them but it's closing fast and we have to be able to field a team here in the next 5 years
  7. I'm still fairly new to investing but the approach I've found I like the most is the Bogglehead method: around 40% international exposure (VXUS), 50% total US market (VTI), 10% small-cap value (VBR). It's a super simple way to invest but I enjoy simple things so to each their own Yeah Lake Ridge is not a snow town by any stretch of the imagination. I'll be in Fairfax come fall and then I hope to move north/west after college. I'd love to be near Leesburg, you and Ji seem to have fun up there
  8. Yeah it would definitely be iffy down here. Anything over 2" is a win for me at this point
  9. Kuchera looks like it's gonna be 7-10" for pretty much all of us
  10. It's still early so I might be seeing this wrong, but i think that countdown is til today's 12z run Edit: just saw the day marker above. ignore me
  11. I need @Jebman to tell us we're gonna get so much snow we'll be shoveling our way to our cars
  12. Maybe not you, but most people in here would be ecstatic with 4-8". It's not a disaster, and it was a step in the right direction. Perspective
  13. Roughly 36-48 hours of straight snow depending on where you live
