  1. 12z GFS looks good .... if you live in Maine.
  2. 6z GEFS not supportive of the Day 9–10 event. Maybe 1 or 2 members have a hit of some sort, the rest have nothing or rain. It ain’t pretty right now for snow chances.
  3. No more mega block on 0z GFS and weaker 50-50 and the Day 9-10 thing is now a rainy cutter.
  4. Changes to the Day 10 event on GFS. Looks like a 50/50 and -NAO.
  5. Not enough cold air and the track looks slightly too close to the coast? PSU mentioned in earlier posts that the ridging in Canada cuts us off from cross polar flow of fresh cold air. So we have to rely on whatever cold air has gotten trapped under the block, which may be stale by the time the storm arrives.
  6. GEFS also likes the Day 9-11 timeframe. Mixture of acceptable hits and rain storms showing up.
  7. Results in a rainstorm verbatim in January
  8. GEFS still says it’s going to be snowy. Someone should tell it’s Op member.
  9. Euro shifted the heavier precip about a few hundred miles north. Not as good for us but it isn’t a total disaster.
  10. Main slug of precip seems quite a bit further north.
  11. 12z GEFS solid. Supportive of the OP. I’ll let the experts break it down.
  12. Really nice GEFS run at 0z. I thought it improved for next weekend and the period afterwards.
  13. Heck of a storm for ski resorts of VT, NH, etc.
  14. GFS is a step in the right direction. Snow in MD at 126. Sleet in DC/NOVA.
  15. Stronger high as well pressing down. Better CAD.
  16. At least Dallas picks up a nice 3-6” event.
  17. GFS trending the wrong way for next weekend.
  18. GFS eroding the cold much faster on this run. Not gonna make many friends.
  19. Euro a little colder than at 0z for next weekend. Should at least have some frozen on the front end and seems like a step towards the GFS. Not a bad run for PSU and jackpotville IMHO.
