With so much talk about snow and mixing line, how do the winds look for this storm for the region?

With so much model watching over the last couple of days, it feels like this storm is about to start tomorrow. But it is still 4-5 days away. There is plenty of time for adjustments.

GFS leads the way. Hopefully the euro remains east of the GFs. Obviously, ICON sucks but that seems to be best case scenario right now.

I think based on the Ops and their corresponding ensembles, we honestly are sitting pretty damn nice for this lead time. The details show that there is likely going to be a sizeable storm but the exact track is of course still up for debate. Someone is getting smoked though whether its NC to Maine.

So to summarize, we are playing the numbers game like salesmen. Make enough phone calls or get enough storms in a given pattern, one will eventually hit.
