  1. It’s always like this though. It’s never just 100% of models show no snow. Always 1 that does just to make you lose more hours of your life following it for the final heart break at T minus 0 hours
  2. 120 hours out is only 5 days. When was the last time the GFS was wrong only 5 days out?
  3. How many more ticks do we realistically need? 1? 2? 3?
  4. I want to be back in if you guys open up the door for me… but remember when NC weenies put all there hopes and dreams in the GFS when it was the last model for hope for them? That’s where I’m struggling here. But the west trend over the last several runs is interesting
  5. I’m going to be sick if Norfolk gets 2 feet and we had to get sleet slop on top of a few inches of snow. I feel this slipping away. Still time but it’s almost out now
  6. Are we back? I went straight to sleep after seeing the 00 euro
  7. Baby steps. We still have time too, but not too much
  8. Man, we are so damn close. The trends ticking west each cycle is encouraging. So damn close.
  9. I do kind of like the look of the NAM at range
  10. Looks like Norfolk's largest snowstorm on record is Dec 27-28, 1892 with 18.6 inches. This storm could theoretically surpass this based on some model runs today. I can't locate upper air or surface maps for this storm - any idea if there are any available? Would all be estimates, obviously, but curious how that storm played out and what happened up here, if anything.
  11. Having 1996 & 2016 in there is eye opening. We are so close here to having a big one. Trends need to continue tonight
  12. So damn close. Would be devastating if this were verbatim
  13. 6z threw us a bone and we are in a treadmill trying to catch it. Holding out hope that 18z euro and 00z suite comes back
  14. Agreed. If Norfolk and Boston don’t get anything, I’m fine with sunny skies
  15. Every model so far is giving Norfolk a low 970mbs Blizzard. Need to bring this storm closer to the coast for us. ICON is close but not quite there
  16. Norfolk and Boston... We know what that reminds us of
  17. Some optimism on the CMC is that there are several west leaning members on the ENS
  18. Is Norfolk really going to be the place to be? Lots of time to go. Storm is still there, so that's the plus side. We just need more negative tilt a bit earlier
