    Whatever, it's a white Christmas. Unfortunately, I really don't know if I have the energy to get half as excited as I was this time if something arises again in two months. Ever since the first few crazy long range runs hinting at something special for Christmas I've been invested.

    There has to be a windshield wiper pattern here because what's the alternative? If the east/weak trend continues for 72 more hours in any capacity there literally will not be a storm

    I know a few people (Stebo, RC) already commented on the wraparound snow and its effects on overall totals, but I can't help but keep thinking about that. On the latest GFS run, for example, literally half of my total comes from that feature, and I'm rather worried that it goes to shit during nowcasting or something.

    Still a ton to love. Even the weaker guidance has a neat 8-12 for much of N IL this run, and combining that with crazy winds would be really fun to see.
