    Sharpsburg MD obs 9:15am Temp down to 22F. Winds are now NNW at 12mph gusting to 22mph. Snow is heavy. This may be our largest snow this season!

    Sharpsburg, MD 8am Obs: 28F, 22DP. Winds WNW at 9mph Heavy snow. Flakes are large. Roads and sidewalks have caved. Looks like about 1.5 to 2 inches on ground.

    Sharpsburg MD 6am obs: Temp is 30F. DP 24 Winds NNW at 9mph gusting to 19mph. Puking snow. Paved surfaces just wet. Grass, etc. covered.

    10am Saturday obs from Sharpsburg. MD. 18F. Wind 9mph from the north. Got about .5 inches of snow. I was expecting much Everytime I looked at the radar we were in a snow hole lolol

    4:45 obs Sharpsburg MD 29F super light snow. Slight trace on grass and sidewalk. This isnt even decent snow tv.

    Sharpsburg MD: Cloudy and 32F. Not one single flake has fallen. I'm really not expecting anything at this point.

    Sharpsburg, MD: Moderate snow now. Coming in from NNE. Roads caved almost immediately. Temp dropped from 20F at start to current 18F.

    Sharpsburg, MD 420' ASL I was surprised with the flurry trace this morning. It's hovered between 31-33 degrees all day with an overcast sky. Feels really raw out with a light NNW wind.

    Wow so sorry for your loss. I used to live near your 'hood off Old Columbia Pike near old town Ellicott City b4 we moved out to Washington County 14 years ago. I barely recognize the area anymore.

    10:00 am Sharpsburg MD 420' ASL 29 degrees Final measurement- 9 inches total. The wind last night blew quite a bit of drifting snow onto pur front from the NNW. Hubby is digging us out. He says that layer of sleet is making it a miserable job. (He didnt clear b4 the sleet so he wouldnt have a layer of ice on the driveway to deal with) Main road is we are on is semi-clear. Side alley is snow covered. All in all a wonderful snow!!

    Sharpsburg, MD 420' ASL 9:30pm 24 degrees and snowing. It's not pouring but its snowing a good clip. I believe we changed over from sleet about 9pm. I guesstimate we got maybe 1/8 of an inch in sleet accumulation. Hoping that its starts puking snow again!

    5:30 pm obs 29 degrees Sharpsburg, MD 420' ASL Light sleet since about 4:45pm Snow total a hair under 7". Isnt this supposed to backfill as the low moves north??

    Sharpsburg, Washington County. MD 420' ASL 4:15pm obs. 25 degrees(down from 26 @3pm) Changed to light sleet at 3:30pm. Changed to mix of fine sleet and fatties about 4:10pm 6.25 inches snow. As I'm typing this the snowflakes have gotten smaller and still mixed with light sleet.

    Obs at 2:30pm Sharpsburg, Washington County MD Temp 26 degrees It's been mod to heavy snow since about 11:30 am. It's been coming down steadily. Estimate approximately(from mailbox top) about 5+ inches of snow so far. Cant wait until its dark and our outdoor Christmas lights come on!!

    Snow started about 9:45 in Sharpsburg, Washington County MD. Light-Moderate snowfall rate.Immediate stickage. Alley has caved. Street is covered on both sides. Driveway is caving. Temp is 28 degrees.

    Coming out of lurking to say the storms so far this afternoon have been a whiff in Sharpsburg. Lots of thunder around us. A trace in the rain gauge. The Sharpsburg Rain Dome is still working.
