  1. Very true. Do you happen to have the NAM snow maps?
  2. That mix line of the euro seems to be getting closer and closer. I am interested in this storm. I just have to be careful about it because I can't afford another rug sweep. I don't think many of us can at this point.
  3. I'll just say, I'm very pessimistic about this entire system. After the last few years and few weeks I have to say I'm permanently numb to outcomes here at this point. It'll take model runs within 24-48 hours at this point for me to be really intrigued.
  4. This entire thing is being overhyped way too early. Way too many things to go wrong here, after all.. it’s Richmond.
  5. Did you not see what he said last night? Scroll back page or two. You’ll see why.
  6. I don’t think the main thread will like my most recent comment.
  7. Everything is right where we want it down here. Sorry Ji
  8. NBC12 : WINTER STORM NEXT WEDNESDAY SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE WRIC / WTVR : Models hinting at possible winter storm next week.
  9. Honestly shocked the NBC12 put out that graphic so far out. That is a backtrack waiting to happen. If it happens, good for them. If not, that’s a bad look.
  10. LIES! All of it….. LIEEEEEEES I tell you! I’ve seen this before!!!
  11. Mmm, no. Not really premature. The GFS was so incredibly wrong about this weeks storm it cannot be trusted unless it redeems itself in a huge way. The euro is shifting this thing west as it usually does and likely will continue to do. If I’m mistaken, I said 1-2 all along for Tuesdays system while other numbers were being thrown around. I stand by the EURO as it has proven its worthiness. The NAM also did extremely well while the HRRR didn’t. If you think it’s premature to say this scenario won’t likely happen, that’s fine. I stand by what I think is accurate.
  12. EURO says no sir and GFS here’s 1 inch. Womp womp.
  13. Man, that was the nastiest weather day we've had in a long while. Pretty cold this morning, dumping cold ass rain and ugly snow on the ground.
  14. I had low expectations coming into it due to the NAM and EURO. While I knew it wouldn’t perform the way we all wanted there were moments of truly beautiful snow. Heaviest bands I’ve seen in a long long time.
  15. I know you guys are about over this system, I apologize. Still frozen precip falling so it's still intriguing me.
  16. Still pretty much all sleet here. Will this cause issues in the morning?
  17. Picked up half an inch in the last 30 minutes. Crazy how weird this system is. 5 miles to my East it's all sleet, here it's mostly snow but going back and forth. These heavier bands are allowing for more snow.
  18. Back to a heavy snow / sleet mix. Roads are gonna be awful tonight into the morning.
  19. Nice! Glad you guys up there won. 1-2 isn't terrible. Local mets should've gone with 1-3 or 2-4. Not the 3-6 or 4-7 ranges.
  20. Typically I'd agree with you on this but I'm hoping for as much frozen precip as possible to hopefully get a remote day tomorrow.
  21. The GRAF has no turnover to all rain. NAM and HRRR are very close as well. We may be dealing with an icy nightmare tomorrow morning. All the models are showing essentially all frozen precip through the evening.
  22. This mixture I have falling right now is creating bad roads and higher measurements immediately. Heaviest snow so far.
