  1. I know you guys are about over this system, I apologize. Still frozen precip falling so it's still intriguing me.
  2. Still pretty much all sleet here. Will this cause issues in the morning?
  3. Picked up half an inch in the last 30 minutes. Crazy how weird this system is. 5 miles to my East it's all sleet, here it's mostly snow but going back and forth. These heavier bands are allowing for more snow.
  4. Back to a heavy snow / sleet mix. Roads are gonna be awful tonight into the morning.
  5. Nice! Glad you guys up there won. 1-2 isn't terrible. Local mets should've gone with 1-3 or 2-4. Not the 3-6 or 4-7 ranges.
  6. Typically I'd agree with you on this but I'm hoping for as much frozen precip as possible to hopefully get a remote day tomorrow.
  7. The GRAF has no turnover to all rain. NAM and HRRR are very close as well. We may be dealing with an icy nightmare tomorrow morning. All the models are showing essentially all frozen precip through the evening.
  8. This mixture I have falling right now is creating bad roads and higher measurements immediately. Heaviest snow so far.

  10. I’m pretty positive that will all be sleet in RIC. Ashland likely snow.
  11. If more snow falls in an hour or so we could see a bit higher totals but 1-2 inches is pretty much spot on at this point. Not the best but hey at least we tracked something and have white on the ground. LR models are saying we aren’t done yet.
  12. Heavier bands out to the west may make their way over here to allow more snow.
  13. All sleet here in western Henrico. Left work 20 mins ago. Several cars in accidents on 64. One truck was upside down near Glenside drive. If you’re one of the people going 10mph in the fast lane (I mean literally 10mph) on the highway, please just stay home.
  14. Feel pretty good about my 0.5 inches to 2 inches call at this point. That’s about it for snow here.
  15. It has all turned to sleet now. That sucks. Fun while it lasted.
  16. Sadly, looks like this dry slot refuses to back fill. Damn.
  17. I don’t think anywhere around here has gotten over a dusting. Just my opinion. Even grassy areas around here are barely getting stuck to. It’s too warm. We ain’t getting more than 3 inches.
  18. I think western Henrico / short pump will bode very well. I don’t think roads will cave today.
  19. Every model besides the HRRR have gone North. Including the GFS. Uh oh
  20. I guess you’re just naturally argumentative. I’m not here to debate about anything. If you think I’m saying you’re lying by my comments that’s fine, but I wasn’t. There’s a difference between apps and actual temperatures. For example, the weather app on iPhones tends to exaggerate everything and is completely wrong on start times, even for rain. If you use weather bug for that, great- nothing wrong with that. I just know sometimes apps are wrong and was curious if you had an outdoor thermometer to verify it. I hope I cleared that up enough for you. Back to the system we’re tracking.
  21. I said I didn’t think you’re lying. I was just curious to see if it was actual temps or an app my guy. Holy.
  22. I’d say look at the GRAF too. It’s been nearly 100% spot on even with rain. NBC12 has the GRAF on their interactive radar. Just click “future” and it’ll show the next 8 hours of precip.
  23. What? All I was asking for was if you were seeing that on an app or on a physical thermometer. Not sure how therapy came into the conversation.
